Safety is the cornerstone on which our construction capabilities are built. Our detailed approach to safety results in us holding one of the best safety records in construction.
We build safety management into our projects from the outset. This begins with analysis of safety issues in the design phase, which in turn results in safety Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) written into the contracts for all of our suppliers and subcontractors.
We then stringently monitor safety deliverables and outcomes through our customised Integrated Management System (IMS). It incorporates all of our occupational health, safety and environment (OHS&E) documentation, procedures, records and contracts.
FKP Construction has a fully accredited quality assurance system in place as a design and construct builder under ISO 9001:2000. This system requires FKP Construction to provide a consistently high standard of quality for our clients, and to comply with all applicable scripts and regulatory requirements.
Our quality assurance system is both internally and externally audited to meet best practice industry standards.
A Certification Audit on FKP Construction Integrated Management System by SGS was recertified on 19 April 2011.
Full certification was granted for the ‘Management of the Design and Construction of Building Projects’ to the following standards:
- AS/NZS ISO 9001
- AS/NZS ISO 1400
- AS/NZS 4801
