FKP is a market leader in Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD). Our commitment to protecting environmentally sensitive and significant areas is fulfilled by our industry practices.
The operating procedures we have developed come from years of consultation with many of Australia's leading environmental organisations including:
- The Green Building Council of Australia
- Environment Australia
- The Environmental Protection Agency
- Green in Australia, and
- Various local council and community groups
FKP has pioneered construction on some of Australia most environmental buildings. We are proud to have been commended by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Australian Greenhouse Office for our work in sustainable, energy efficient design for 120 Edward Street, Brisbane, Australia's first 4.5 Star Green Star building.
We have since delivered the TAC Building in Geelong, Victoria, a 5 Star Green Star building. In 2010 we developed and constructed Queensland's first and Australia's largest 6 Star Green Star building by design for Energex, at our masterplanned community in Newstead. |
