FKP Core Plus Fund Structure
The FKP Core Plus Fund (Fund) is an unlisted stapled security, with investors owning units in a trust (Core Plus Trust) and shares in Core Plus Developments Pty Ltd. Stapled Securities in the Fund are issued on a partially paid basis, with the Fund making equity calls on investors as the Fund secures additional acquisitions or incurs capital expenditure. The Fund allocations are to both:
- Active Core Property Investments: existing assets that are considered 'active' in nature - requiring intensive management regarding lease expiry profiles or assets requiring refurbishment or structural enhancement; and
- Eligible Developments: investments in development projects on a 50/50 joint venture basis with FKP Limited.
